About This Product

Delsym® Adult 12 Hour Cough Relief Grape Flavor Liquid is an extended-release liquid medicine intended for temporary relief of cough caused by minor throat and bronchial irritation, such as may occur with the common cold or inhaled irritants. Its active ingredient is dextromethorphan polistirex, formulated with extended-release technology to provide cough relief for up to 12 hours. The product has a grape flavor and a purple liquid appearance. It is a cough suppressant and is alcohol-free.

Ingredients

Active: Dextromethorphan Polistirex equivalent to 30 mg Dextromethorphan Hydrobromide per 5 mL. Inactive: Citric Acid Anhydrous, D&C Red No. 33, Edetate Disodium, Ethylcellulose, FD&C Blue No. 1, Flavor, High Fructose Corn Syrup, Methylparaben, Partially Hydrogenated Vegetable Oil (Soybean, Cottonseed), Polyethylene Glycol 3350, Polysorbate 80, Propylene Glycol, Propylparaben, Purified Water, Sucrose, Tragacanth, Xanthan Gum.
